The Viceroy Collection uses only the finest of hardwoods for their furniture, doors and various architectural elements; mainly teak, mahogany, rosewood. All of the timber are from mature trees dating at least 65 years in age, thereby assuring rich grain and color. These logs are awaiting processing at our timber mill yard. After the logs are cut into predetermined size boards, they are placed into a kiln dryer for about 3 to 4 weeks. Calibrated meters are used to measure the wood’s moisture. The international standard is 8 to 12 percent.
